I'm informed that this car is an absolute mare for finding spare parts, true or false? era 1930's.

Almost anything 1930s is going to be tricky - except an Austin 7, maybe. Can't see why a Minx would be worse than average.

My dad has a few - I think he`s tied up with the owner`s club in some way. What are you looking for?

Hi Towman, I have spotted a 1932 Hillman Minx of 1932 vintage, the car looks in fairly good order and it is on my list of possible purchase.

Talking with one of my Brothers tho and he said that they are OK but all the Hillmans are very difficult regards spares??

I don't mind having to have some obscure bits made but don't want to end up off the road for eternities.
