Not sure what sort of loot this lovely old dame will cost would be but I would have it as a guess that you’re looking at about £250K?
Looking at the Fiskin website I see there is an equally appealing Brun 962 which would probably cost you about the same.
Nice to know that both would get you into the better parts of Goodwood for the festival and indeed very handy for next years Le Mans Classic so well worth the ‘quarter of a yard’ for those sort of privileges!

zumbruk said:well, its true it hasnt got a lurid paint job. Or a daft front splitter. And it isnt lowered with phat alloy wheelz and rubber band tyres...But when people have class, such things are not important.
Jeez, what a pile of scrap. You people need to get your heads read.
Its a great car, in a great condition. Lovely

Is this irony or just downright blasphemy?
Dare I be so bold as to put the car into context? Bizzarini was a Ferrari man involved in the 250 series of cars and heavily involved in the seminal 250 GTO until he left to go and design the then new Lamborghini V12. This engine powered some of the greatest cars of all time from Espada to Countach, Diablo to Miura they all featured the same glorious quad cam 12 courtesy of Bizzarini.
He only left Lamborghini over the companies attempts to detune his engine design for road car usage, how about that for love of your work!
He then went on to start on his own making things such as the wonderful Bizzarini Strada shown above competing it at Le Mans.
Asides from that he also designed the various ISO cars such as the Rivolta so all in all I reckon that makes Bizzarini a god in the world of the Pistonheader 5300 Strada included!!!!!!
Cars like this are said to have acquired a delightful patina of age something I for one am very keen on.

You clearly have absolutely no idea what that car is, otherwise you wouldnt have posted that. Do some research and come back humbled

OMG!!! That is so WOW! Fantastic patination.
Sorry BG, to you its patination, to me it's letting a great car fall into rack and ruin. BLACK wiper blades for gawd's sake! I don't like the American style of over-restoration, but the conditon of that car is a disgrace. And I speak as someone old enough to remember the Bizzarini/ Grifo A3C the first time round.

...the conditon of that car is a disgrace.
Sure looks like it to me
There is absolutely nothing wrong with scruffy paint, it doesnt mean the car is a neglected shed. I agree with your comment about over restored cars. But what would be the point of painting this car? It would ruin it. The folks who look after the great masters in the worlds art galleries dont routinely paint them over every few years.

I'm sorry, peeps, but I'm quite serious. That does nothing for me whatsoever. If I inherited it (or found it in a barn) it would be straight down Sothebys for conversion into readies.
Now this is a gorgeous car;

Or the Porsche 356 Spyder, or the original 930.
But I guess this is a religious issue.
