OLD CLUBMANS/750 FORMULA CARS?
Discussion
I remember going to Silverstone with my dad back in the late 60`s/early 70`s and seeing loads of early Mallock U2`s and specials with 750cc Reliant engines with weird and wonderful names........where have all these cars gone? I would be interseted in buying one to restore as something interesting to run at trackdays, anyone got any info on something suitable?......Martin
p.s I rebuilt a barn find U2 mk4 20 years ago and sold it after doing a few sprints.....wish i still had it!

Also a fan of these. I started spectating in early '80s at Silverstone and loved watching the Clubmans. Thought they looked great and the 1700cc class cars sounded good too. My favourite was always the Phantom, driven by Kimber Crossley. Just looked so much more modern than the Mallocks.
Wasn't the late Will Hoy a champion in a Mallock one year?
