Yeah, in 2001. Very good.

Essen and retromobile are the big 2 as far as i'm concerned.

I'm trying to sort out time (and money) to go this year.

this famous annual Classic car show is the worlds greatest Classic Car Show and not to be missed.

2004 Event - 100thousands of visitors! 1000 exhibitors from 15 countries! 110,000 square metres of exhibition floor space in 17 halls! Approximately 2000 automobiles for sale! Over 130 presentations from clubs and museums!

The date: April 7-10
Location: Essen in Germany (everywhere signposted)

Been going for about 10 years and it never fails to amaze. You will see cars which you will see nowhere else. Easiest way to go nowadays is to fly to Dusseldorf and its about 15mins to Essen in a taxi or Train from airport to Essen takes about 35 mins and Essen has an underground system which will take you right to the exhibition halls. Hotels are cheap and it will take you 2 days to see all the show (over 1,000,000 square feet of exhibition halls.
