Navigator Wanted for 2005 Monte
Looking for capable and experienced navigator for 2005 Monte - 26 Feb -4th March as part of 3 car team. You need to be competitive, possess a generally politically incorrect outlook, able to select a decent red quickly and be really up for the event. Car is fire spitting, Healey 3000 to Works Rally Spec, veteran of 3 Marathons and 20+ HRCR events. Very strong, well prepped, always driven to and from, always finished. Sorry, but you need to cost share entry and fuel-about £2000 each and you must be fully experienced in Historic Rally navigation, ideally with previous sucesses.

Initially please e-mail me, Mike Spindle on claytontoolmaker@aol.com

No experience at all!!!! 'this may alarm you' But i'm up for it. I do carry a race licence and have competed in karts for a good few years so i have some race experience. also done a few car endurance races. fairly handy with a set of spanners. Let me know if you want to meet up. I only hope you find somebody with more experience 'for both our sakes'!!

In any event 'Good Luck'

Hi Satsuma,
Thanks for the offer, but events like this are often won by the navigator's ability to inteperet the organisers instructions. Without the necessary experience you really wouldn't enjoy it, as you would feel under constant pressure.
Best to begin navigating or driving with a mate at the same level.
You can start road rallying with an almost standard road car, like a peugeot 206 which offers a lot of fun for a reasonable outlay.
