well I am arranging an appointment to view tommorrow. This will be my 1st car in my new business venture so I need to get it right.

Its a 1927 Buick 27 - 25X 5 seat open tourer. The dealer will take my Griff' in P/X but I will talk to him about setting up a deal with me buying a second car from him. If I buy it will be instead of the 'Bullnose' I like, but the Buick has bags more presence and so perhaps better suited for my purposes.

I'm fed up with wasting time with attempting to sell the Griff' privately, so lets see what the P/X is like.

Anyone know anything about the 27 - 25X, I know its big and a six cylinder job but thats about it.

Hi Tvrgass, It seems I have a prospective serious buyer for my Griff'. The chap is looking at it first week of January so I have held back looking at the buick until then.
My 'buyer' wants Fernhurst to give the Griff an inspection so thats fine, better than tyre kickers.

As for the buick, I've been in contact with the seller and explained where I'm upto and his prepared to accept Griff in P/X. So one way or other it looks like first week of January its all change.

Might go for a nice wedge later in the year, have to see how the money is.

Disappointed, having set my heart on owning the Buick, I carried out a detailed search regarding spares for the old lady. Several well repected Buick agents have told me that spares for this model are difficult to get hold of

It seems that day to day running spares are to a limited degree available but gearbox, brakes and suspension spares cannot be found. Meaning refurbishment or manufacture of components. I have been advised that to keep her on the road will not be easy and it will be very expensive indeed.

So its the end of that particular dream
Just noticed my Son has'nt logged off his handle.

Start the search again now.
