seen as a classic car by the general enthusiast.
I refer to the TVR Wedgies which appear to be somewhat blighted at the moment by the so called 80's era. I've owned 3 of the wedgies in the past and all have been excellent cars, but the prices just seem to continue to drop.
What do you say ? and what other cars may fall into this category?

As an enthusiast's car the 924/44/68 series are becoming modern classics, but they're still overshadowed by the more fasionable 911. It's not their fault Porsche didn't want them to outshine the 911, which they could have easily done given equivalent power - they already outhandled them!
(ok, so I'm a little biased)

Wise move ARH to buy in when the market is snify about a car. With most cars they seem to go through the 'dead in the water' phase, when alot of people overlook the potential. Then suddenly the 'market' wakes up and the scramble for the 'must have car' is on.
So the wedgies turn soon.

I think wedges and the XJS and most of the others will one day be thought of as classic. But it'll take another 5/10 year or more.
Some of the pre-war stuff was (I'm told) pretty poor, but it all has a following now.
Some of the recognised classics had (the stag) or have (Better not say) serious problems (...forget rust).
Whereas these don't (or not much of a problem).
One day rarity will make them a fully recognised classic.
