Where is CUT7 Low Drag Coupe?

Just talked to someone here in US who said that the Jaguar E-type low drag Sayer Coupe "CUT7" is sitting in Brian Donovan's shop at Lenox Massachusetts.

When/why did the car go to the USA? Who owns it now? Last I heard Sean Lynn owned it.

Did Ralph Lauren buy it?

Well, I believe the other two "low drag" cars are still in UK, (Lidner low drag car and the Dr Klat car).

There is also a standard coupe with reg CUT7 and another standard coupe with reg CUT8 (in Japan?) but the real deal Dick Protheroe reg CUT7 is apparently in USA now (?).

Hey, just read that Protheroe did in fact use reg CUT7 on three cars. Something I did not know.

So your reply makes sense now.

Two of the those three cars were standard body cars. The low drag "CUT7" is what I'm interested in.

A pal of mine used to look after it and do the prep work on it. He told me a couple of years back that it had been sold to someone in the US
