spot on that man.
ok apart from being a wedding car, what make/ model may it be and from what vintage?

Hi Topcat,
It looks late 20s early 30s American and I think it's a Pierce Arrow, probably a straight 8.
I'll try and find out more.
It's very pretty, are there no badges on it?

no obvious badges and you are right on the age. 1932. it also has a straight 8. see what else you can find.

I'm not at all sure that is a Pierce, the radiator shell is wrong. But it is certainly American and very nice looking car indeed.

It is the individual look of the pre-war that has attracted me to buying, when I've sold my Griff'

That's a 1930s Cadillac. That radiator mascot was in use until the first full-bodied Cadillacs, which used the 'V' crest.

It's not a V16 (bonnet's not long enough), but it's probably got a V8 under there.

nope not a caddy'. its a straight 8 under the bonnet too. Have you noticed the extra window along the side?

Nope none of those.
1932 Buick 6 seater limosine. one of only 3 in the world. 1 in saudi, 1 in japan and 1 in Devon.
Still in service as well.
