Unusual Jag XK50

Somebody at work just sent me a link from the Wail about somebody who has owned 47 Jags over the years and it showed the above car which is down as being an XK150.

So what is this? Anybody have any information about this odd looking front?

Bit of customisation but clearly a 150, quite similar to the 120's posted in a different thread.

He didn't have much faith in his XJ40, RAC badge AND an AA badge!!

seems an extreme way to stop pod rot.
Try posting it to the XK list of Jag Lovers, someone will probably give you the chassis number.
