In which car did you pass your Driving Test ?

Early 80's for me in a late 70's Renault 5 !

1978 a Morris Marina that I had bought from my brother a few months earlier.

Failed first test as instructor's usual Allegro had broken down on the day of the test so he brought a back up car - A Mk2 Escort. Only problem was the wipers and indicators were opposite way around. Yep, every time I indicated the windscreen wipers started!

Wasn't amused at the time as my 3 older brothers all passed first time.

A Kia Pride in 1997. My instructor replaced his Fiesta with it a week before my test so I had to adjust to the right hand indicator stalk quickly. Still passed first time though!

First was a G Reg Nova. Second was in Mk 4 Golf.

Bike was on a GS 500

Bike was Lambretta J125, passed 3 weeks after 16th birthday, car was a Riley 1.5, passed 1st time 6 weeks after 17th birhtday. 1970 and 1971

A white 1989 Ford Fiesta 1.1L in 1990.

It broke down on the test (wasn't the first time). I offered to bump start it in reverse, but was told no. I passed 1st time.

Including me - bike test on a Lambretta LI 125, car in an Austin 1100. I still remember the handbrake starts - up with the clutch until it bites, wait for the bonnet to rise and away you go !!!!
