Gorgeous ! And very rare .
About time we talked De Tomaso on here. Pretty sure I remember seeing a Mangusta at last years NEC show . They are now making big money .
Years ago i read a good article in Road And Track ? Or Car And Driver Magazine ? They did a feature called " Evil handling Mangusta Exorcised " . They found that the weight balance was all wrong , far too much at the back and spent a lot of time trying to sort it .
In the mid 80s a pal and i drove miles up the M1 to view a Pantera , blue I think , that a dealer was selling . It was absolutely full of filler, even the roof and had recently been " Toshed Up " . It was completely miss described.
In the early 80s a black 72 model Pantera was parked up in Woodford Green , it used to move sometimes , then it disappeared .

That Longchamp is stunning, love the flared arches and it's stance. Stunning.
There was a red Mangusta at the NEC show last year, it was a well used race car and looked great for all it's rough edges.
I'm heading to the Le Mans Classic with a friend and his freshly re-built Pantera, it's the car which was driven by Pearce Brosnan in a Coke advert many moons ago and has all the wings and arches..
. It's just had a load of bodywork, re-paint, fresh crate engine and re-trim so i can't wait to see how it goes. Love the things

My Longchamp is the GTS model which offered the factory wide arches and 10 x 15 & 8 x 15 Campanola magnesium rims. The last six or so became GTSE with the above plus running boards and several other options thrown in as standard. The rarest, but IMO not the prettiest was the GTS Spyder (loses the lines of the coupe);

I actually really like that Spyder. And the blue/tan is my ideal colour combination. I bet they're well into 6 figures though?
