Outdoor Car Cover - Can You Recommend Me One?
Discussion
I need to get an outdoor cover for my 2nd car (1995 BMW M5) and am looking for some recommendations as to the best options. The car sits on the drive and does very few miles a year, so I want something that is going to protect it from the worst of the weather conditions Hertfordshire can throw at it. I have been recopmmended J.F.Stanley and Co and an Auto-Storm, but wanted to see what the Pistonheads contingent had to say on the matter before going ahead.
I have used these for about 5 years now with no issues. http://www.hamiltonclassic.co.uk/acatalog/Car_Cove...
What you must know is
They will not keep a car dry so need to breath. they will keep most of the rain out though.
they will not last forever, after about five years they will start to show signs of wear.
do not put a cover on a dirty car this will wreck the paint.
