The new Mrs Breadvan. Some say that she's the Mark 3, but in reality she's the Prototype (we met as undergraduates in 1981, but only did the decent thing on 19th May 2012).



Check out the fancy ride..... One of these is a rental, the other's a keeper.

Luckily , Mrs BV is a petrolhead (and a better driver than I am), and allows me to indulge my lunacy, but she has told me not to buy any more cars or bikes for a bit, and she's very sensible in that.

An excellent acquisition.

Tidy lines, bodywork in tip top shape, pretty front end, bumps in all the right places. Just make sure you keep her well oiled and enjoy having a fettle on Sunday mornings.

I'm still keeping my Mk2 though even if she won't let me buy another classic at the moment. Said we could look for a 140DHC in a couple of years though so perhaps I'll keep her

breadvan, cracking pics. my congratulations to you both and a good choice in longevity of prototype developments. resulting in mkIII's is not a bad idea. ps need to train the old girl into not wearing boots in the house...fine in the stables, not the house

ben, very good advise ref' sunday morning fettling...i would add that you've missed the other six days of the week and that wednesdays and thursdays can produce some surprisingly good results

This one is better, as you almost can't see my ugly mug.

My daughter is showing exuberant petal flinging skills.

She had the best weekend ever - her first time as a bridesmaid, and at her daddy's wedding too, and then her first visit to Glyndebourne, with her granny, to see "The Cunning Little Vixen". Guaranteed win at Show and Tell in school this week.

There are, as any fule kno, several types of boot and shoe which are only for wearing in the house.

The Boxster is only rented, but I am very pleasantly impressed by its abilities, especially on quiet Scottish highland roads.
