I've been naughty

Ben, have you owned up to this yet???
There are a number of anomalies in the photo - the limit / verification markings may not be legal.
There is a system of street lights so therefore there should be 50 repeaters on the lamp columns at set intervals, I can't see any in the photo.
Apart from lane lines there should not be any other road markings within the limits of the verification markings - from the photo there appears to be a number 91 or similar.
If I was you I would be doing some further investigation and challenging the conviction

And its uphill too. No way that should have been able to do 66mph.There are a number of anomalies in the photo - the limit / verification markings may not be legal.

Interesting. If it isn't hours and hours of time spent appealing then I might do it. Cheers. There are a number of anomalies in the photo - the limit / verification markings may not be legal.

Heh, I always have the tom tom on so I knew I was really doing 66, not that I should have been of course.
Probably won't contest it as the hours spent doing so would be much more profitable actually working.
Expecting £60 fine and 3 pts when I return the paperwork.
Also yes, there are 2 photos, the other further away.

Actually I have to say after the recent topics of people complaining about driving like tits then getting caught the OPs attitude to this is quite refreshing
I agree. From the photo there is no other traffic in the vicinity, road surface dry and in good condition, perfect visibility - hardly the crime of the century.
We've all been there, done that and in the past got away with it, good that Ben is happy to "put his hands up".
