Shameless plug for Classic Car Show/Country Fair September
Discussion
If any of you could be in the vicinity of Bishop's Castle, Shropshire over the weekend of 15/16th September you are invited to bring and display your pre-1970 Classic Car (or, dare I say it, bike) at our annual Michaelmas Fair. Yes, I know, classics were made after 1970 as well but we need to draw the line somewhere ...
The vintage and classic vehicle rally has always been an integral part of Michaelmas Fair. In 2011 we had over 20 steam vehicles, over 50 tractors and 100 other vehicles. As well as seeing the engines on the cattle yard, if you're in town on Saturday evening, you'll see them in the streets too - they all park up along the streets on the Saturday evening and it ends up being one big party! Entry for exhibitors is free for the whole weekend for you and your passengers.
Last year's Michaelmas Fair was a sumptuous event including processions, Morris Men, Bagpipes, Steam Engines, Tractors, Classic Cars, Food, Drinks, Street Theatre, Dance, Concerts, Brass Bands, Children's Activities, Market & Craft Stalls and much more!
