I sold my 4.0 litre Jeep Wrangler YJ to raise a deposit for my Porsche 911 in 2007.

I immediately regretted it, I missed it so much, but fortunately I had sold it to a mate.

Unluckily for him, the engine went pop soon after, as I had previously hydraulic locked it fording a huge lake type thing on Salisbury Plain biggrin

He dropped in a new motor and then did loads of work on it, suspension lift, locking diffs, body lift - all the trick off-road bits.

He called me last summer, and told me he was selling it out of interest. I went straight round his house and bought it back. And I gave him a good price, which helped to eradicate the 'blown engine' guilt biggrin

My first car - Series 1 Land Rover crew cab.

Sold for £400 or so. I spent the cash on a girl. She was bonkers.

God I miss that car.

My Triumph TR6 & Ford Capri 3.0S. Regret selling both of them. One day, maybe, I'll put one of each back on my driveway.

I had an immaculate 1985 M535i.

Sold it to a bloke in Holland a couple of years ago.

Should never have parted with it.

Arctic silver 328i coupe. Even though i sold it to upgrade to the evo, i miss it. It just looked right with no spoiler in that colour. Very purposeful yet understated.
