Upatdawn has done such a craking job with his classic car ID parades...thought here's one with a difference - name these classic car tools...

Knuckle breakers, skin removers and some sophisticated blood letting tools. All best used to make a walk to the pub seem like a much better idea. I think I can also see the attachment used to transform a trivial repair into a problem that can only be solved by the scrapping of the vehicle it is being used on.

No, to gap plugs you use a feeler gauge, which is a set of thin bits of metal of different thickness's.

I think item #13 is actually for gauging the thickness of something like metal sheets. You slide the gap in the gauge over the side of the sheet and test different gaps until you find one it will fit over smoothly, and one where it gets stuck. The plate thickness is read off the inscription next to the thinnest gap into which the sheet metal passes smoothly.

No 13 is a sheet metal thickness gauge, probably in standard wire gauge, but I can't make out the units on an iPhone screen.

well done Andym1603 & GAjon...they are indeed a bearing separator and a sheet metal gauge!

mrmr96, pls don't try to spilt your ball joints with tool #1. use a proper ball joint separator
