It's got (or had) a boot lid, therefore can't be a Standard Eight. My guess is a Standard Ten.

I have a Standard 'super' 10 and its exactly the same as that.

Absolutly spot on... As you say the back has small wings either side of the boot opening. Neither the Standard 8 or 10 nor the Hillman Minx have these. Also one can see the small white plastic trim discs around the window winders.
