Evening guys.

Can anybody recommend me a good Chrome plater, preferably in the North East, but will post if necessary.

I have 4 Carello headlight retaining rings which need to be re-chromed so not a huge order, but want somebody who will look after them, do a good quality job, and won't take the mick on the cost.

Cheers

Paul

We now use ACF Howell in the West Midlands (after many years of using S&T in Bristol) tel 01922 649992. Not the cheapest, but first class work.
Hope this helps? Al.

I've just used Vernon Moss (Electroplaters) Ltd, very good, they also do nickel plating as well, Speak to Damien.

I used Castle Chrome in Dudley, W Midlands and was glad I did. They were half the price of a well known company in Derby and were willing to tackle the stainless steel parts as well as the chrome ones.

We had a very frank conversation about what they could and could not do with the stainless parts which was refreshingly honest and clearly set my expectations. They then set about exceeding them within the time agreed! The rest of my chroming will definitely be going there when the time comes.

The owner has an interest in classic cars (and has restored his own) which also helps.

I know they're not in the North East but are probably worth a Google search.

Needless to say, I have no connection with them whatsoever!
