Saving an old fuel tank?

There are a few tank sealing type products on the market from people like Eastwood and Frost.

What about acid dipping? (Be prepared for a lot of holes coming back).

I've used the Frosts Motorcycle kit for my Austin & tank, which had similar issues, its a system which cleans & preps before adding the same sealer as your link... seems to have worked a treat, very easy to use, just follow the instructions, but you need to take the tank out... and any filters you don't want sealed

Drive it hard

Or undo the pipe that runs to the fuel pump.... just make sure there's no chance of a spark!
