For a Targa??? Not so sure.

C2 manual is the most sought after after the obvious RS etc
'Fraid so and if you think that's bad, you should see the C2's etc...
Well blow me down with a feather.

Never seen that kind of price before.

It's double what they usually sell for.

There's another one ending on there on Sunday, so it will be interesting to see what that goes for.

Exactly. Proof is in the pudding. I guess they can ask 100k or even 200k but it’ll sit there forever

Having simple tastes I don't hanker after anything exotic, I already have my perfect little classic.
My current desire is a Series 2 landrover to keep the mini company in the garage.

Can't actually think of anything else I'd want more than my Manta.

Or maybe a 964 Carrera.

I just read through all eight pages of this thread and started to think about what I'd dream to get. I already have some nice cars that I drive. My daily is a 2010 Jag XKR which is the best automobile i've ever owned. I'd probably love getting an XKRS convertible in French Racing Blue.
In the supercar realm, I've had for the past 30 years a gorgeous '72 De Tomaso Pantera that finally works and is my Sunday morning car, and I like that era of supercars so any of a number of Ferraris.
I'd probably like to add an E-type convertible Series I to my little collection some day.

What's life like with the mini? I've been thinking of budgeting 5-7.5k for one next year. Literally to drive to the shops and get coffee, seems like a fun little thing.

What year is yours? (I have no clue aboud minis)

Ahhh

Looks just like my old one, except mine had silver/grey graphics.

Best handbrake on any car I have every owned. Huge drums that would lock the rear axel instantly no matter how grippy the tarmac smile

It's been fun following this forum, since there are many cars which were under £100,000 when I bought them but aren't now. How about £10,000 for a doggy 1961 E-type roadster for example? I still have it now but over the limit today. I had a Ferrari 348 but that was never out of the limit and certainly is way lower now. A BMW was £25,000 back then but now are in the stratosphere. My XKSS was £60,000 22 years back, but again isn't now. I posted earlier that my dream car was - and always has been - an Invicta Low Chassis, but even when I fell in love with them they were already £80,000 and now are approaching £1 million. But I can still dream and that costs nothing.
