My favourite reproduction one I saw a while ago was a Mike Youngs RS Centre, Ley Street, Ilford. dealer sticker.

It was just a shame it said 'Lay Street' !

I can't beat that , but <60k on my 1992 and has spent much of the 2010s parked going by the gaps in the MOT history , the age of the tyres fitted suggests well protected from sunlight too .

coincidently I just received a period replica tax disc in the post this morning. The car has all the original dealer stickers on it so luckily not going to have to source any of those.

No pictures alas but in 1985 and 1986 my Dad bought a brand new Fiat Regata followed by a Fiat Fiorino at Burton's Fiat dealership in Louth. The rear sticker on each stated 'I'VE GONE FOR A BURTON'.

He gave up looking. As you probably know Reading Garage and the Penta Group disappeared years ago.
I believe I have located the dealer sticker you and I are after (my car is a 1986 205 from the same dealer). I will message you again once I have a good photo, measurements etc so it can be replicated. I believe I have located the dealer plates too.

Burton's are still there but not a dealership.

I have located the dealer sticker and taken exact measurements. I have passed this on to DMB Graphics who are making up my stickers for me. The sticker is now shown on their website if your friend is still after one and wishes to order one. Cheers, Mike

Thanks, that's a good idea. I have a copy of the original sales invoice and there was no logo or anything on it, just the wording as shown here - probably what would have been on a window sticker if they used them.
I've got a photo of me stood next to a lovely white convertible V12 E type outside Rob Walkers in 1973 knocking about somewhere.

Many thanks for your post Mike. I started this thread over five years ago, sadly my mate ( and his cars ) is no longer with us.

It's not particularly old, but I met up with a mate on Sunday and noticed his OHs 55 plate Mini Cooper has a Cooper sticker in the rear window which seemed appropriate!
