Indeed, FE with two four barrels, cam and headers and it’s a four speed manual.

‘Nippy’ is probably the wrong adjective to describe something so big, but it is quite lively.

Loving Harry’s Camaro by the way. I’m a Ford man through and through, but in my opinion the early F bodies are prettier than the concurrent Mustangs of the period.
No way you own a 63 1/2 Galaxie Fastback! Jammy sod - one of those will be on my driveway one day... awesome things that I absolutely love (for some inexplicable reason), do you have a thread/more details on yours anywhere?? Looks superb in black-on-black, rather sinister cool

I have dreams of having a 427 four-on-the-floor road car (if we're dreaming with a SOHC/'Cammer' lump), my head says it'll be horrible to drive on country roads and feel like a tank/bus, but the heart wants what the heart wants...

Sticks.

Such a stylish and understated design, and this looks a fantastic example. The colour suits it, not all do. The seats look an upgrade, anything else?

That's outstanding and I thought I recognised Jonathan's handiwork.
I've had occasional dealings with him; he's a genuine gentleman.
Have you seen the Lotus twincam Minor pickup?

It's a lovey bit of kit

You should have washed them all, not just the number 4!

Joking aside, a lovely car. Built for driving, not washing.

Thanks, I swapped the seats for mx5 (a lot do this) so I can get the seat back past the rear side post for leg room and recline (OEM you can't, not an easy seat to get used too) also changed the heater fan for a Micra 1994 as the fans are the same direction, much better, it's a body off resto, also new diff, head skimmed and hard valves fitted, recon box and O/D Jtype fitted, balanced prop, few other bits.

Love the wheels / colour combo on that. Mine of the same colour is in my garage going through a very long and slow restoration.

Only a 1275 / Type 9 gearbox / disc brakes etc but still a great car to drive, I imagine that is huge fun.

Rushed photo as I was blocking someone coming out of the farm entrance I pulled into. I played chase the sun in the ol’ 2002 a few nights ago. Very enjoyable it was too.

Very fortunate to have rural roads a stones throw away, barely saw other cars. I imagine most bbqing or at the pub!

When I was researching for one, I knew it had to be in this colour combination. With the tan leather as well, although my budget went out of the window…

Agreed there, the most comfy seats I’ve ever been on, lovely soft leather, and they seem hard wearing as well.
