just came across a Ginetta G4 ad with some old pictures of that car for S

it had some fun in its days I guess.
Looks better on the Minilites IMO. They really suit it.

I did not really recognized the Honda S600 when I posted it, it looked so big/high compared to the Ginetta, but now you mentioned it, wow, such Honda is tiny, but it looks huge in this picture compared to that Ginetta hehe

That’s the Holden Hurricane concept car. Built in 1969 it has navigation, digital instruments, and a rear view camera.

It has a 4.2 litre V8 and sounds fantastic.

For those that may not be aware of the absence of one of our more prolific posters on the CC&YH sub-forum:

Let's hope he signs back on with some different credentials and continues his good work.

Ditto Nij was an interesting poster. I always enjoyed his train of thought. He was a car guy at heart but it shows we must all watch out for copyright stuff. If we were stuck with the PH generated content it would be dull as ditchwater round here.

Thing is, if he was posting copyright stuff and was asked to stop, it's self inflicted if he continued to do so.

I think I acknowledged why he was banned. He was still someone who had a positive input to the topics he posted on.

I thought I’d slipped that past everyone. Well spotted.

It's a pity that this couldn't have been handled differently, I enjoyed P5Bnij's posts.

Ah, that's my old friend Dick Ellingham - he owned and raced that G4 NAP4F for many, many years. Here's a pic of him (on the left) at the end of a Ginetta Club meeting in Berkshire in the early 80s when he also had this road going G4 Series IV.
Earlier that day that pub was overflowing with Ginettas.

I wonder which pub that is, thought I knew most of them in Berkshire! beer

That little car was definitely designed as a roadster.

Roof! We need a hood!

Here, this will do.

Looks awful.

Don't worry, it's only if it rains.

It's in Hampshire on the B3349. I used to drive past it regularly.

Ah ha... The New Inn at Heckfield, I know it well, I've had Sunday dinner there. Actually prefer the Leathern Bottle just along the road but it was okay... beer
