Same here. I came up behind a new BMW model the other day, that I had never seen before. I then saw the registration number and it was already 2 years old, so either they haven’t sold many (unlikely for a company like BMW) or my brain just isn’t interested enough to notice them. I think I gave up on BMW when they went downmarket with the junior drug dealer 1 series.
Just to contrast this (and I know it’s off-topic - sorry Doofus) I was heading up the M5 on Thursday and found myself following an N-reg 518. I know the 518 wasn’t the quickest BMW but this was batting along quite happily in lane 3. It looked so tightly styled and elegant compared to what they’re churning out nowadays.

Anyway, back to little blue gull-wings…

You've asked for it!

Do posters realise there is another mystery blue gull(wing) story, that I think is still ongoing... and it's not p'shopped, it's real.

Don't apologies to me - I'm heartily sick of the whole mystery car thing and all the spats and the flounces.

I was just clarifying that this isn't the thread BeastieBoy thought it was.

Seagulls are like mad women or pensioners. Dye is freedom, a different colour every day.

Well, it’s hit the National Press, let’s hopes it leads somewhere!

Yay - we'll have that famously perceptive and knowledgeable Sun readership sorting it out. At last.

At least if it ends up in the Daily Fail we will know how much the drivers house is worth.

But a handful of experts seemingly ‘nailed’ the mystery by identifying it as a rare Sunbeam Tiger Project TS4 concept car, which seems to only exist as a 3D image.

You can even tell it's Carroll Shelby driving it.

I'd say that's nailed it. So many details as well as the shape matching perfectly. I can only assume that a few testing mules existed, if if they no longer do.

It's impressive that they had such 3D rendering capability back then.

This mystery has now folded in on itself, creating its own solution from nothing.

Wikipedia will be saying it's the sunbeam tiger project ts4 concept car and quoting this thread next...

It stands for Truth Social. The go-to place for honesty and integrity.
