Vicarage Mk2 conversion:
Shame about the hood structure sitting on the rear deck, it rather overpowers an otherwise elegant conversion.

It looks period this way - but maybe this is a better option:

Looking at that it's easy to see why some people comment that the XK150 looks Mk2 like.

if they could have hidden the hood the lines would have been fantastic.

Looks good this way but, presumably, at the expense of rear leg room.

Should a convertible not always be a 2-seater?

confused No. e.g. BMW 3 Series convertible is a bit of a classic 4 seat soft top.

Wow and thanks. Italians just know how to make a car look good.

Hints of Ferrari 250 and Maserati 3500 GT here and there.

Very nice. Not one of the 50 original Birkin "Blowers", but a replica built to full "Blower" specification, based on shortened 1928 4½-litre chassis.

A 4-seater convertible is usually known as a Tourer.

Back on topic: Does this count as a different Jaguar?

1955 Jaguar XK120 by Pininfarina:

Jaguar Mk VII by Pininfarina:

1958 Jaguar Xk150 by Zagato. Sadly no good picture seems to exist of the car and is currently thought to be lost. The two other Zagato bodied xks however have survived.

1950 Jaguar XK120 by Beutler:

1953 Jaguar MK VII by Beutler:
