Took the Laurel down to a recent evening meet at Shotley - I was disappointed not to get a bridge shot on the way down but a quickly taken snapshot on the way home turned out nicely:

Nice photo and very interesting car. How many Laurel's are in the UK?

Thanks!

How many are left? I'm not sure, but I certainly didn't see any others when I used it for the work commute today.....

Probably very low double figures of my C230 generation. Mine's a facelift 2.4 with 5-speed manual 'box.

I think this is old enough to be a classic now. It’s no Triumph Herald, but I love it.

Always had a deep love for the E28, as it was the one I learned driving with, crashed one and finally had one.
Great size and lovely looks, esp with that arch extensions, you simply knew it was special.

It looks a bit like a "My brakes failed" picture.

I’m beginning to regret posting now!

It's a lovely-looking thing, to be fair. Almandine Red?

Unless it's got filters applied, I don't think that's Almandine. I had a 124 cabriolet and it looked a quite different colour than that.

That's Mercedess colours for you. I had an E320 cab and I never knew if it was Green-Black or Blue-Black

It is theoretically Almandine having been resprayed three years ago after some significant work. It perhaps ended up slightly less pink than it ought to have been but at the time I was more interested in just getting it fit for the road.
