I do have the complete microfiche version but that's not as convenient. The books occasionally turn up at autojumbles, if you are lucky.
Aah....those were the days, when you went into a parts dept, and the old boy in a brown coat would grab a microfiche card and slide it around the glass plate, staring into the dimly lit to look for the right part number while you pointed at the right part.......I never saw any older models on microfiche.
Every month envelopes of any updated microfiche sheets would arrive at the dealership. Eventually there would be a sheet marked 'Final Issue-Retain'. As time went on, you could / should refer to the OSI microfiche, updated every month, to see if the part you had looked up was still available. Then the infamous descriptions appeared such as 'replaced by' or 'no longer available' etc...

I think Cortina Mk.2, Corsair and Zephyr-Zodiac Mk4 were the first Ford GB microfiche, all squashed on to one sheet.
I never saw any older models on microfiche.

It's a bit of a brick, isn't it. They never were particularly delicate, but that bodykit doesn't help it, IMO.
They were far from being a brick, they were quite aerodynamic for the era, much more so than people think, although the Carlsson kit didn't do them any favours looks wise.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
