Looked in great condition. Cream and brown , think it said 220. I briefly co-owned a 250ce in maroon many many years ago and would love another

Should really have been barrelling along towards the Arc de Triomphe, or cruising along Santa Monica, but instead it was burbling along New Kent Road in London. If the driver wasn’t wearing a cravat he should have been!

It’s shocking, in a good way, just how many of these are still in regular use in London

Nice. I had the estate version in the late 90s.
How many rival dealers has he got cable-tied and gagged in the boot?

E-type 2+2 coupe and corvette stingray refuelling in Tesco Holyhead yesterday,

Bring chaperoned by a silver S Class Merc, can’t remember model number, but think it was late 60s/early 70s.

Stingray was in a stunning salmon colour

REALLY cool smile

That’s lovely; so classy. What a contrast with the fugly MINI…

I saw this lovely Peugeot 505 Diesel yesterday. Back in the day I was never a massive fan of the 505, whilst I always liked the larger 604 from the mid 70’s.

However, I now really like the crisp lines of the 505 and I’m sure this makes a great everyday classic.

ISTR getting a lift from a school friend in a 505 and having an unintentionally sideways moment with power oversteer in a housing estate!

Today I was in Nijverdal where I have lived for a long time during a shopping Sunday during an annual combination of a shopping Sunday with classics and vintage cars through the shopping streets.

It was very busy so it was often difficult to take a photo, so everything was done quickly and on a gamble :-) but it turned out reasonably well.

I will spread them over the next few days, because there are 100+, not that I took a photo of everything, but a lot, it was nice sunny weather, so that was nice and not far away.

serie 1

It already started in the parking lot, that is outside where the cars are parked for that day, it was a bit difficult to find a spot, considering we have normal sized parking spaces and there apparently were many American large cars that sometimes had 3-4 spots. names... but it worked, see my Z3 hehe

So then I walked to were the shops were with the cars of the day.

there was a lovely Griffo? looked really cool

I think the blue one is a Triumph Toledo (I think all Dolomites had 4 headlamps) but I wait to be corrected!

Looks like a Saab 96 of some flavour or another - I’ve never seen a convertible one of those!

Late dolomite 1300/1500 had the single headlamp nose.

Infamously a car that, in a single body (13/1500, Toledo, Dolomite), offered transverse and longitudinal engines as well as both front and rear wheel drive
