That's like a lot older than my dad yikes, no wonder I don't get half the stuff the posters on here go on about and some are probs even older than my granddad who keeps goin on and on (and on) about his funny old Fords, stuff from back in the 60s and 70s like I should know what he's talkin about. Sometimes we didn't even go back that far in school history lessons.
yikes... Stray into the 20th Century & we are classed as old & past it.
( Ahhh... these ‘Whippersnappers’)

Don't encourage him. He thinks he's funny but it's just noise.

Not so unusual, I was 26 when my first son was born meaning I would have only been 39 when he was a youngster like you... wink

Sorry; ( I have now titled the photo)
Old Basing, Hampshire... Small Village & hasn’t really changed much. The shop is now a house though.
The line is still used...

“Well funny you should say that. Yes, yes I can”

So, here's the fun part. If you acknowledge that there was a world before you were born, you can go and investigate it. It's called history - they teach it in schools. Without it there's be no future. You can learn from it, and some of the events that happened and things we had we, well, OK really.

Those of us who have miraculously survived the past 50 or more years have some fond memories, and we enjoy sharing them. I'm sure there's an Xbox / Minecraft / Instagram forum over there >>>>>>>>>>

Wow are there people actually like a lot older than this guys dad. I’m 56 and started driving in 1983 and the amazing thing is I don’t particularly feel a lot older but I do wonder who the guy in the mirror is sometimes. If you are lucky enough to get to my grand old age I’m sure you might feel the same. Youngsters eh pah.

Err, might be a case of mistaken identity sir. Apologies. Someone was handing out grief for puns last week.

I come on here for a quiet read and find my favourite thread spoiled by posters who, under the mistaken impression that they're funny want to fill the page with stupid jokes and puns.
Wonder who said that? whistle

Certain people won’t get that and might have to ask their dads. Although he might not be old enough either
