Like the Herald convertible had a Spitfire that colour (sienna brown) but with tan upholstery in 1972.
A very 70s colour.

I quite like the brown. Here’s the controversial bit, though:

One of my neighbours refers to my Maserati Biturbo 430 as 'an Italian BMW', my Mrs calls it 'the Mazda'...

Next door's large metal garage contains five cars, two of which are projects with the bodyshells stored on their sides wink

Still a great looking car, the proportions are just right. These early Biturbos are really having their moment just now I think, and looking better all the time. Lovely interiors as well, there’s nothing else quite like them cool

My '66... as it was a week ago on its ridiculous 18" wheels

...and now on some more sensible 15" wheels with big bouncy 215/60 and 235/60 rubber...

Lovely. Definitely looks better on 16” rims, though I’d lower it a tad if it were mine smile

Interest is certainly on the rise, but for some they're still very 'marmite' cars, it's probably as much to do with their reputation for unreliability as anything else. I like the two door Biturbos too (I missed out on a decent one last year) but the four doors are very nicely proportioned, they're boxey but the softer edges of Gandini's restyling works really well and is quite subtle, particularly around the A and C pillars. I got very lucky with mine as it has history from day one and the interior is in very good condition.

Here's an odd thing which I can't quite put my finger on - I love this era of boxey Maseratis but the similar shaped Alfas of the same period don't do it for me, despite being a big Alfa fan.
