Hey all,

I took some pics of my and my friends Europas last night.

Mine is the green road car, his is the black race car roadster.

We both run Cosworth power, mine is a 1.6L BDD, and his is a 1.3L BDG.

The Motorsport Elise wheels look absolutely amazing IMHO. The use the same bolt pattern too! Perfect!

Very sweet, have been thinking of buying a Europa for Sprinting/Hillclimbs and putting something special under the bonnet VX/Cossy.

fast 1960s cars the way to go ,as you can see im looking to drop a vtec into mine -the XE engines are good if you fit jenvey inlets uprate cam and stand alone management 200horses .i like a challange and im looking for 250 from the s2000 lump.the problem with big output europas is the chassis and brakes (oe drum rear brakes)and the original chassis will start to shake apart much over 160 bhp so look for spyder chassised motor...

Just out of interest have you come up against any problems with the drive shafts ?

A friend runs an S2 with a 2 litre vauxhall engine and has had to have custom driver shafts made because the original ones couldn't transmit the power reliably.

Mine hasn't moved under its own power either, so I don't know how the shafts will stand up.

They are pretty beefy u-joints though, I think they should be ok.

The 2L Vauxhall will have bags more torque than my engine in any case, which, I would imagine, would be what causes troubles.
