This is a simple display of what they think of us lot I'm afraid,

Unless you've got 75k to spend on a Car then you’re not in their future plans, it really pain's me to say this but the Evora will be the cheapest car after the current Elise is dropped.

I hope for all those poor chap's up at Hethal's sake that this downturn picks up and quickly or else the little chance that Lotus had of surviving will be over, I've been watching like everyone else has with interest on their press releases, promotions hoping that they are going to also remember us but so far nothing to even suggest it, and before anyone says anything I know they’ve got to change I love change but remember us lot (who brought new car’s for the last 5 years from you) in your future plans.

I feel I can say something on this topic as I’ve spent a lot of money with Lotus over the last 6 years, wait and see I suppose

Apart from the new Elise starting at £35k, yes.

What a store! And what a strange assortment of tat. Surely the market for humidors is very small, so how many can Lotus expect to sell at £860 each? I suspect that, if you ordered one, you would find that they are out of stock because they are just there for show.

i own a lotus and would have spent a lot on their clothing if it was more realistically priced, canvas bag 600!!!!!!!!!!! is that a joke. If a lotus keyring is worth £70 I may have to pull the badges off my car and attach a big of leather to them, bonnet, steering wheel boot etc. On a serious note though I think they are moving in a direction which isnt doing them any favours, the clothing range if better priced would be a good little return for them and at car meet more people would see the range and buy it but sadly not at theose prices!

...although makes the car parts look cheaper in comparison!

The prices yikes
The clothes remind me of the Alan Partridge collection, who the fk wears this? Is owning a Lotus enough without having to shout about it with a pair of cream Lotus action slacks?

Yer right, you honestly believe that? I don't think so the Evora was meant to be 42k – 47k and its 60k so going on those term’s the Elise will be far more close to 50k

This is just the shape of things to come, have you been into a Ferrari shop? LOL! it's a right laugh!

What's really making me wonder is where all this money's going to come from to buy all these new car's, no one's got any money, everyone's having to cut back not spend more or perhaps I'm missing something.

I Work in the City and have done for Twenty years just don't see the buzz returning for 5 - 10 years myself, the other cuts around the country as well as in Europe, USA it doesn’t make sense

It's all part of the transition from being a manufacturer of sports cars to being a "lifestyle" brand.

I can afford a sports car, I don't make enough to have a lifestyle.

Check out these two items from the "Heritage" range:

http://www.lotusoriginals.com/en/product/show/blaz...

http://www.lotusoriginals.com/en/product/show/heri...

In particular, check out the "67" logo on these items - which the description tells us is for "commemorating the first championship win in 1967".

Shame they didn't Google that before rushing into production, first Lotus F1 Championship was Clark in 1963, followed by '65 and '68.

1967 was Denny Hulme in a Repco Brabham!!

Baharhahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I rather think that the people this range is aimed at wouldn't let a little thing like facts get in the way of a good posing opportunity.

I do hope that Lotus succeed and prosper but I like cars and have no interest in the Lifestyle choice.

The webshop is utter over priced tat, and as for '67 commemorative items that's just depressingly unbelievable.

I hope that this simply represents an isolated example of incompetence and doesn't reflect a general lack of knowledge, passion and understanding of the brand.

The club magazine and benefits have gone, replaced by a lifestyle magazine containing nothing much for ££££££. I'll probably join the flat caps and tweeds at Club Lotus, at least these guys know the history of the brand and appreciate the marque.

I feel quite sad!

Good Luck Lotus, I hope it works out ok.

Regards, Neil

I can't see any explanation of the 67 logo.
