This is of course the Group Lotus backed entry for 2011. This year's Malaysian entry under the name 'Lotus Racing' will also be on the grid next year, in black and gold, probably under the name 'Team Lotus' if they win their court battle in the New Year. So yes, that'll be 4 cars on the grid, all in black and gold, all under the Lotus name in some form.

Four Lotus, two teams, both in black and gold (JPS) at present, that may change. There are more bits in the local Press www.edp24.co.uk Search Lotus
All good for Lotus fans (that includes me!)

So Lotus Racing is now Team Lotus for next year and are staying Green and Yellow. The New lotus team old Reno is in black and gold.
Well thats todays news, will it change again!?
Yup! Clive and the Chapman family have withdrawn their support from Tony Fernandes because he is using Team Lotus and they don't like that. (Group) Lotus and Danny Bahar are throwing their weight (and Proton/Malaysian money) around to make sure they are the only "Lotus" team on the grid next year So Lotus Racing is now Team Lotus for next year and are staying Green and Yellow. For my money, Mike G's has hit the nail on the head there. Chapman was in F1 as a sportsman & engineer first - the money was just a necessity.Remember, he once said “Money is how we keep the score in motor racing nowadays.”
