2006-era Europa - second hand bargain in 2013?
Discussion
With the tranche of latest Loti(?) launched in Paris, I'm presuming the current Elise will notch downwards in value in 2013 as the replacement appears and is more desirable / modern / less K-series than the oldest S1s - but will the forgotten Europa cascade to bottom-of-barrel Elise prices, circa £8k at today's money, by then?
And will it be a bargain if it does?

I think that it is difficult to say that the Europa will become a bargain in the near future. Lotus sold so few that the depreciation rules for mass produced cars don't apply. With only a few hundred cars having been sold (maybe as few as 150 in the UK?), the supply of used cars will always be very low. This could hold prices quite high for some time to come. Also, Lotus's move upmarket is likely to increase the desirability of the Europa/Evora/Elise rather than to diminish it.
Ultimately, however, I think that the new Europa is a minor footnote in Lotus's history, and destined for virtual obscurity, regardless of its merits.

Depends what you class as a bargain, this is good value i reckon;
