Just spied this. what do you guys think? concept or production car to lower the EU emmissions thingy due to impending esprit polluter?

brilliant idea, if they really can keep to the true lotus ethos not the new more power and to hell with the weight idea.

imagine excellent handling, low enough power for emissions and insurance to keep low. enough space for shopping and perfect commuter car. Keep the true lotus nutter model for the weekends and this for the daily grind.

Plus pumps money back into Lotus to concentrate on the next weekend wet dream toy, while keeping average emmisions low for the EU.

For once from Autoexpress this seems like a credible story. It ties up with what Proton are announcing in their business plans shared with the Malaysian business press.

I love the sound of it and the look. I'd have one in a flash if it looks like the pics, goes well and doesn't cost too much.

It's tempting me to go to Paris for the show.
