Ooops. We missed it. Must keep more up-to-date with the Elan world in future.

Mind you, ours is still laid up from winter at the moment. Must get it serviced, taxed and insured for road use.

That's me that is! in Mustard's last picture standing by my very dirty BRG Elan with the boot open & hood down (it was clean when I left home). Excellent gathering and a few good bargins.

I didn't get to Donington until 1pm-ish on Saturday.

Saw the line up, parked mine in amongst you all for a bit, before heading off for a pub lunch. Was particularly taken with the very dark purple (aubergine?) coloured Elan - very pretty!

Was it the one with the tiny front number plate? Some folks think it's brown at first site but IIRC it's called Cranbury. It was originally a special order and there was a matching Esprit that went with it.

Its certainly different, I would like to see it sparkling clean, its all too easy for very dark claret colours to verge on looking brown (which is not good!!) but I reackon clean and in the sunlight it could look stunning (problem is the two things happening together dont happen very often in this country)
