Any of you done any driving courses with your Lotus?
Discussion
Hi,
Just wandering if any of you have done any performance driving courses on or off track?
I driven a lot of performance cars over the years and have done a lot of track days, but now I'm looking at some sort of course to make me faster, smoother and more competent in my car, rather than doing doughnuts on a track
Your views are appreciated. I live in the South London/Surrey area
Thanks
Mike

Andrew Walsh of www.1stLotus.com is well known and respected. Have done a couple of days with him and got lots out of it.

You can always go back to the factory: http://www.lotusdrivingacademy.com/
or these guys are good, too: http://www.catdrivertraining.co.uk/

in addition to the above (have done all except CAT) have a look at Don Palmer car control.
Think it depends what you want - car control in general applicable to road and track driving. Hiring an ARDS instructor on a trackday (TDO' own) helpful for sure over a short period on an unfaamiliar circuit. i have also hired an ARDS instructor for a full day of tuition on track which was good, but in terms of limit handling / techniques etc, an 'airfield' type day with different disciplines to master taught me most.

Had a lesson in Scotland with Andy Walshe at a charity trackday last friday.
Absolutely brilliant. very patient and really made things drop into place where I was having trouble with understeer/oversteer on track. All the Scottish guys inc the racers use him he's really good.
Def get booked up
