I organised a NYLOC trip down for SYS. 10 of us ended up doing it and had a fine day out which included the Classic Team Lotus tour as well. The track driving was excellent, but short. They do encourage you to really press on, but 20 mins was insufficient really. As an experience/day out, it was great but I'd suggest the bronze licence as being the better option for really getting to grips with an Elise at speed. Hope that helps, drop me a PM if you want anything else.

Go for it, you will love it. You will find just how far you can push these little beasts, especially when the instructor takes you for a few hot lapsbiggrin

Over the past few years Ive done the scare yourself sensible & finished with the Gold license in 2009. Absolutely fantasticthumbup

Did the Silver licence before i bought my car, really enjoyed it/learned a great deal especially after driving FWD hatches for many years.
Downside is its quite dear but they do provide the cars, fuel and insurance smile

Normally you have to start with the bronze licence.

if you have done driver training elsewhere they seem to accept that to allow going straight to silver. Dealer included bronze as part of deal for my Elise Lotus upgraded to Silver for £150 after I confirmed that I had done BMW fahrer training. I haven't taken it up yet going this Spring
