Lotus were already looking up under the stewardship of Mike Kimberley. Its a crying shame he has had to step down on doctors orders.

This news hasn't gone down to well on the Lotus Esprit/Evora Forums. I personally hoped they would promote from within. When I see all the Ferrari branded tat you can now get I'm not so sure the guy responsible for it is right for Lotus. I firmly believe they need to be engineering led. But hey, look on the bright side - at least he's not a bean counter!
