Westover Sports cars in Blanford have just started a Lotus Dealership the currently deal in Ferrari, TVR and Morgan. The are also getting a MkII Elise 190 shortly I'm told which, I'm going to have a spin in as soon as it's run in.

They might get a Elise 130 sport but i think you'll be waiting a long time for the 190. But get yourself down there its worth it. Vroom Vrommm.

Why's that? I've ordered the first customer S2 Sport 190 and will be getting it in the next 3/4 weeks.

Although I understand the 190 is only available through Stratton Motor Company (where I'm getting mine) and Bell & Colville.

Tim.

Is this one of their own "Super 190" conversions?? I was under the impression this wasn't anything to with Lotus and one of their own custom tuning jobs. As this is an aftermarket conversion, would this make it a pain to insure??

No it's a proper Lotus Motorsport version of the Elise. See the Lotus news section on Pistonheads for more details.

Insurance doesn't appear to be a problem from the quotes I've had so far - less than my 911 which is going in p/ex.

Sorry, looks like I should have read the article more carefully. Looks good, are they still using the VHPD engine in it?
