Lotus S1 Soft top refurb

I have an Elise S1 which I have owned from new - I broke the soft top this week and need to get it refurbished. The plastic strip at the front of the roof has broken in the middle. Can the roof be refurbished and if so how do I go about it?

Send it back to Lotus, probably easier via a dealer.

Hi ive emailed Lotus gb and there response was that they havnt got the replacement part untill july. They will sell you the part you need , its about £30 or you can send the roof through a dealer and it will cost around £75. Once they have it turn around is supposed to be around 1-2 week. That maybe plus vat depends on dealer.

I have a good friend who can stitch it in properly as hes an upholsterer and has done my seats and he charges about £20 labour to do the job and does it straight away
