Hi All,
I've been looking at buying a track day car for a while and saw a 2-eleven at goodwood a few weeks ago!
Do any ever come up second hand?
Ive seen them new at around £30k which leads me to think that you should be able to pick one up at early 20's second hand?
Any ideas where to look? (other than autotrader and here!)
Also, i saw one on the Bell and Colvill website in the John Player colours, has anybody bought from them? do you know if they do any deals?
Cheers Guys
Dan

New at £30K will be the unsupercharged version (circa £28+K + SVA pack to make it road legal), which is too new for many to have found their way onto the second-hand market yet.
You won't find any at £20K at the moment, though obviously that will change if you wait a couple of years.
The supercharged cars have been around a little longer and you see occasional examples on the second-hand market, but since its new price is substantially higher (£40K region), second hand prices have yet to drop below £30K on that model, either.

Second hand ones don't hang around long. And a s/c s/h one would set you back £35k minimum unless it had been abused.
B&C are the people to buy one from - afaik they have sold more than all other dealers put together. Don't hold out hope for a deal though - they are pretty sought after and they sell them as fast as they can get orders through the factory.
And, no, you can't buy mine

If you want a road-legal trackday car that's substantially quicker (and a lot rarer) than an S/C 2-Eleven, mail me via my profile; I might be persuaded to part with my FW400 for a little over half what a 2-Eleven would cost you, since I'm not getting much chance to use it at the moment.
