N.E. Lotus Clubs meetings

LotusExcel.net, Club Lotus NE and LoTees have got together to arrange the first of what we hope will become a regular series of NE England meetings, starting on Tuesday 3rd Feb.

AFAIK NYLOC are still meeting at the Buckles. This is something for those of us a bit further north who don't have the time to head down into Yorkshire.

Is this the "new" meeting Club Lotus mentioned in their last regional newsletter which is to take place at the Cocket Hat in Anderson Drive in Aberdeen?

If so, I'm interested as the regular monthly meeting at Bo'ness is just too far south.

Why not have a meeting on a Sunday night at the Pizza Hut/Toys R Us carpark on a Sunday night (7:30 onwards)... a few of us go down there, no boy racers flying about, nice and quiet to chat and look at cars, and places to eat and drink.

Is that over and above the American car-cum-classic/anything meet that occurs on a Wednesday during the summer? What sort of cars turn up on a Sunday?

Excuse me but why do you ask?

There were at least 50 Lotus cars there and everyone I spoke to was really enthusiastic about their own car whether old or new.

Feel Free to have a run out to Corbridge some time and call at The Dyvels Pub, we get alot of clubs meeting with us on various different days, Ferrari, TVR etc, Just a thought for you to add to the list.
