275 Jobs to go

275 jobs are to go at Lotus as a result of the current economic climate. The jobs will go over the next few months. The majority of redundancies are expected to be in the manufacturing division.

Somehow, I think this would NOT have happenned if Lotus had engineered their products for the global marketplace. If Lotus had engineered the Elise for worldwide distribution, Lotus would not be having the problems they are having now.
