I've been after a good example for years and I still haven't found one. It's the ultimate Esprit in many ways and for some reason the sport 350 never quite captured it's appeal. They are incredibly rare and the those that own them seem to want to hang on to them.

However there is a reason that green one hasn't sold and that's because it was rebuilt from a major shunt. No doubt the work has been done well but that's always going to tarnish its history. That and the stevie wonder spec interior! That said he might be open to a seriously low offer. Just don't expect to be able to sell it on easily.

The car was totally rebuilt with new parts a Lotus apparently, so affectively a new car.
The chaps taste in interiors is bordering on the insane though...

He's been selling that for ages. I've been told it's been going around the Lotus dealers on SOR. So far no luck. Have you been to see the car?
It's the kypton green with laser blue alcantara interior isn't it? Don't get me wrong it's a lovely car and i would love to own it but you have to be brave to choose a car like that in that colour and with parts for a sport 300 getting more and more difficult to locate. Belive me, i do it for a living smile (By parts i mean sport 300 specific parts)
Best of luck with it though. Don't hesitate to contact me at Stratton if there is anything i can help with.
Tim.

Yes I have been to see the car and it is just like a brand new car.I spoke to Steve at SJ Sports cars and he said it was the best Esprit in the world and I would never find anything remotely as good.
The owner has spent thousands pampering the vehicle with bills to back up from when he first purchased it from new. It is No 36 and the colour is fantastic in the flesh, although the interior is a bit much. What is the problem with parts?

Some engine and suspension bit are difficult to get. But then again im sure they can either be remade or refurbished. I know shocks and spring were obsolete but Lotus now do a bilstein conversion apparently everything is at the same spec for half the original price which is promising.
