Elan +2 Zetec Conversions

I have been interested in having a Lotus Elan +2 with the Spyder Zetec Conversion. I have never seen one for sale. Anyone know how many have been done?

Where do they tend to be advertised when they do come up for sale?

The link given above should be www.lotuselan.net which is a forum for RWD Elans - Zetec engined cars do come up for sale from time to time on their classifieds.

Lotus Elan Central is devoted to the front wheel drive M100 Elan, so won't be much help to you.

If you're serious about finding one, it might also be worth joining Club Lotus, as plenty of cars are advertised in their magazine that never make it onto the internet - not all older Lotus owners are computer-friendly!

I had seen the two link posted.

I have looked over the Spyder website and there is not much on the Elan forum on the Zetec conversion.

I was hoping someone here could give me an indepth view of the car from an owner point of view.
