What are these badges from/worth?

Hi guys,

A client of mine has these badges that he wants to sell. Anyone know anything about them such as which model they are from and what sort of price he should aks for them?

Why does he want to sell them? They are pieces of history, I don't know what they are worth, sorry.

He has had them laying around in his collection of automotive memorabilia and is having a sort out prior to emigrating.

He asked if I knew anyone who would be interested so I mentioned here. He said he thought they were from the Elan / Europa from the mid sixties???

don't know what they are off, but Jim clark won the indy 500 in 1965 in a lotus 38

At that age they will be off an Elan, S2 I think, they were fitted to the rear wings above the front ends of the rear bumper.

The badges look in really good shape so I imagine they could be worth quite a few quid but I don't know exact values, sorry.

The badges are still available as a part number. They come in two parts, the badge and the bezel it's fitted to.

Both retail for under £20 each from all good Lotus retailers.
