Is anyone currently driving the 2-Eleven both on the street and track. Am not interesting in hearing about inconveniences of the car but more of how is it for reverse parking, speed bumps or car park entrances / exits and those type of everyday niggles for using? any owners with comments

Reverse parking is ok - helps if you're tall. Speed bumps - not found one yet I can't get over - just need to slow and angle the approach sometimes. There was a fairly hefty rise at Hthel on the way into the exhibitors car park - we all just reversed in wink

The main issue for me is parking it and leaving it - it's easily damaged so I am a bit wary on that front.

Thanks stephanie. Thanks for that info. When you say wary on leaving parked do you mean on idiots scratching or just more idiots who generally can't drive or open their doors properly in car parks?! I have two other cars that are tough to park too, i wonder whether the quirks for this are different. Guess not. Anything else on day'ish to day'ish use you can point out?

Lotus here have offered to exchange my R for a new one (thats 2-11) they have as they suggest it suits me so considering.

Actually how is it in traffic?

sorry for the questions just good to ask someone first and not in my native countries Japanese !

Thankyou

Have a look on www.2elevenforum.com - lots of info there.

More worried about people climbing in/on and potential damage to bodywork - the panels are not strong!

It's an easy car to drive in traffic - it will bumble along at low revs happily in pretty much any environment - so far I've used mine in all weathers including snow, heavy rain and hot sunshine (temps in excess of 38 degrees) with no issues whatsoever.

There is zero luggage space however, so not really a replacement for an elise unless it really is just going to be a toy.

Thanks stephanie

Went to see one today, black version, last one left so will sort out tomorrow if they can take my R off hands and sort everything easily.

Thanks for Forum info/link - very useful.

Happy motoring.
